Femi Adeduji has one of the smoothest male voices I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. I am immediately reminded of Brian McKnight. Femi is better because sings for the Lord. He is a mighty talent and, his CD,“Rain Down,” is an album that reflects the heart of a true worshipper. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, this is Femi’s debut album, with producer Lukus Samari, released this year, 2010.
This is a laid back sound that fills your heart with peace. Femi immediately gets you into a spirit of worship. You will find your self relaxed and in the presence of the Lord very quickly. His voice is pure. The music is pure. It is a combination that will wash over you with the cleansing power of God’s Spirit when you begin to worship with him.
I tell you the truth when I say, from the first note I heard on this record, I immediately knew I had to have it. I need You is the first track and sets the tone for the entire album. The second, Can’t Live Without You, follows through with a subtle urban beat in the background. Still it is in the vein of quiet and powerful worship. You Are My Friend, continues to bring new flavors to the album. There are cascading guitar and string sounds that continue to carry you even farther into this soft worship of the King of Glory. And the title track Rain Down will have you ready to surrender everything to God, and, that’s just the first four tracks.
This CD is superb. If you are a worshipper then this album needs to be in your library. Femi is a powerful vocalist and, a powerful worshipper. Let him lead you into the presence of God. You will never want to leave. Femi currently serves with the praise team at Jubilee Christian Church in Boston, Massachusetts. His greatest joy is in touching as many lives as possible with his music to comfort and encourage the hearts of people, drawing them closer to God.You can find this CD at CDbaby.com
