I Told You So – David Sanborn

by Tony on June 28, 2010

I have not posted in a while. I don’t have any excuses. I like to post about unknown Christian artists and have some in mind but just haven’t gotten to them yet. However, while I am waiting to get my act together I thought you might enjoy one of my favorite artist on the saxophone. This is David Sanborn preforming at Montreux Jazz Festival in 1984 on a song called, “I Told You So.”

David Sanborn is a jazz and funk legend who has played on the albums of many many artist. I discovered his music back in the late seventies. I had been playing the sax for a couple of years. I had not heard many sax players at this point. David blew my mind. He caused me to practice harder and learn more. I hope you enjoy this clip as much as I did.

If you like David, you might also like the late Boots Randolph, and also Kenny G.
