Absolutely rock! Jam Packs is was created by Apple to enhance your musical creations with Garage band and Logic. Music loops is what they are. Professionally done, you get guitar loops, drum loops, bass loops, strings, guitar riffs, rhythm guitar loops, more stuff than you will know what to do with.

Not all of the loops will fit into your song in their natural form. However, you can cut and splice apple loops to create new ones. Some of them are midi and some of them are audio clips. Either way they can be manipulated to fit your music and style. I have even pieced together guitar riffs to create ripping guitar solos. Depending on how imaginative you are there could be no limits to what you can do with Jam Packs.

Of course you can’t depend totally on jam packs riffs and loops to carry you. You have to have something going on already. I use jam packs to enhance my own ideas. And that is exactly what they are for. You don’t want to “write a song” and have it instantly be recognized as a bunch of apple’s loops strung together. The jam packs also add playable sounds and instruments to your computer’s sound bank. This is the main way I use them. There are keyboard sounds, bass sounds, multiple synthesizer sounds, and several drum machine sets, all of which can be manipulated to create new and original sounds, and, you can play those using your midi or USB keyboard.

As far as the loops that come in the package you can change the key in which they play. You can change the speed at which they play. They are totally editable to fit your every needs. Jam Packs give you  access to studio musicians and their talents without having to pay them. $99 was well worth the price for what I am able to do with this product. I currently have the Jam Packs Remix Tools. I am planning to purchase Jam Packs Rhythm Section very soon. I am sure I will be just as pleased.

I am still learning, but, you can check out my progress with learning to use Jam Packs on My Original Songs @ Jesus Jams
