Welcome To Jesus Jams

Hello and welcome to Jesus Jams. Jesus Jams is how I refer to my favorite praise and worships songs. This website features Christian music by lesser known artist/writers who have composed and performed their own brand of worship songs.  I am also a writer and artist who endeavors to bring glory to the King of the universe, Jesus Christ, through music. I love to find unknown artist getting their praise on. There are thousands. I hope to bring them to your attention here on this site  – Jesus Jams.

I believe that most of the musical genres that we have today would have come about even if Adam’s fall in the garden had not occurred. That would have been awesome. All of your favorite and popular music styles would have been to glorify the King. I believe this because the God who created us expects us to stretch and to grow in all areas. It would have been no different with music. He has given us the ability to share in His life, and that includes His music. We were created in His image.

Music was meant to be used as a tool. In the first place it was created as a tool of worship. Putting the praises of the Lord to music is at least as old as the psalms. Many of the psalms that king David wrote were to be put to music. I believe they were put to whatever music was typical or even popular in that day.

The psalms of David were inspired by the Holy Spirit of God. We still use them today to bring peace and to raise our level of faith in God. There are many truths and great instruction in the psalms. If they were put to music the chance of remembering these truths later is much higher. Music is a great way to help you remember the word of God.

Music is also used by the people of God in Praise and Worship of His Majesty. The bible says..“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” (psalm 22:3) So if you want to get into God’s presence you now know that He inhabits the praise of His people.
