You have already had a taste of some of the new music coming. The new CD will be called, “I Am Crucified.” I have been learning in the last year or so about the grace of God. Galatians 2:20 has become a staple verse for me – “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
This verse tells me that my old self or nature or whatever I was before Christ, is dead, was crucified, and it is not me who lives now but, it is Jesus Christ alive in me. In other words He is the power, the way, the life that powers me. When I say, “he is my life,” I am not saying that he is the most important person in my life (and he is), but in fact the life in me is Christ. I am learning that my new nature (Christ) is not just a theory or something that will come true some time in the future. It is true right now. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
The songs on this new project will hopefully reflect these new revelations. And hopefully the CD will be completed before the end of the year. There are some exciting new grooves to look forward to as well. In this post I leave you with a remix of a song that has been on the net for several months now, Jesus Is Coming!
